Team Remington’s Brandon Powell Repeats as World Champion
Click image to enlarge and download.LONOKE, Ark. - July 21, 2025 - Remington Ammunition’s Brandon Powell successfully defended his World Sporting Clays Championship held at the prestigious E.J. Churchill in England July 7-19, 2025. In a Super Final with six other shooters, Powell bested the field by three targets to claim the title. “Brandon has been dominant domestically this year with championship performances at top sporting clay events and is extending that winning formula on the world stage,” says Jason Nash, Remington’s Vice President of Marketing.
“It still hasn’t set in yet that I’m back-to-back World Champion,” says Powell. “This has been a dream come true for me to win it in England. The amount of hard work and dedication has paid off and I cannot thank my family, friends, and sponsors enough for the support that they show me,” continued Powell. Up next for the two-time defending World Champion, Powell will stay across the pond and head to Cyprus for the World FITASC Championships.
Powell’s performance also anchored Team USA to two team wins. Powell, along with Remington sponsored shooters, Braxton Oliver, Madison Sharpe, and Turner Purcell combined to win the Overall Team competition and the Senior Open Team title that included Powell and Braxton Oliver. Other team Remington results include Madison Sharpe finishing third in the Ladies High Gun and Turner Parcell finishing third in the Juniors High Gun by winning a shoot-off to earn that designation. Parcell was part of Team USA that won the Junior Team title.
