Weaver® Presents “Racksgiving,” a Block of Wall-To-Wall Deer Hunting Programing on Sportsman Channel

Weaver® sponsors a special deer hunting block of episodes on Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American sportsman. The programming event delivers three straight days of the best whitetail hunting shows on TV, airing over Thanksgiving weekend.

ANOKA, Minn. - Nov. 20, 2012 - Weaver announces its sponsorship of “Racksgiving," a three-day special block of deer-hunting programs airing over Thanksgiving weekend. Weaver’s optics experts, with more than 80 years of innovation and shooting experience, know the adrenaline of hunting big whitetail bucks is the ultimate way to overcome the massive dose of tryptophan that comes from eating too much turkey. The programming event takes place during primetime on Nov. 21 and 22, and culminates with an incredible 16 hours of deer hunts on Nov. 23.

“Thanksgiving is a time for friends, family, food—and hunting,” said Weaver Marketing Director Jason Nash. “Racksgiving is a perfect way to celebrate the season with great deer hunting shows from Sportsman Channel.”

“Racksgiving,” is presented by Weaver Optics and kicks off on Wednesday Nov. 21, in crystal-clear HD. Six popular series on Sportsman Channel, including “North American Whitetail” and “Family Traditions with Haley Heath,” will showcase deer episodes starting at 8 p.m. ET.

The event continues on Thanksgiving night with deer-focused episodes of “Savage Outdoors,” “On Your Own Adventures” and more, also starting at 8 p.m. ET. The grand finale of the deer marathon airs on Nov. 23 from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. ET.
