LONOKE, Ark. - March 19, 2026 - Remington Ammunition celebrates a strong list of performances of its sponsored trap shooters at the 46th Annual Southern Grand held at the Silver Dollar Gun Club, March 9-16 in Odessa, Florida. Team Remington was dominant across the Junior, Sub-Junior, and Veteran Categories. With 507 shooters competing, the event featured a deep roster of topflight trap shooters and Team Remington captured two of the five event championships during the ATA major circuit stop.

In the High All Around, Ian Lawrence, a 24-year-old from Herrin, IL, claimed the championship. Lawrence also finished as the Singles Runner-Up and third place in the High Over All Open Division. “I relied on Remington STS light 8’s for singles and doubles, along with Nitro 27s for handicap—highlighting a balanced combination of recoil management and performance,” said Lawrence of his podium finishes.

Remington’s Zach Nannini won the Handicap Championship from the 27-yard line following at 50-target shoot-off. Nannini credited his Handicap Championship performance to Remington’s Nitro 27 saying, “they deliver consistency and tight patterns for excellent breaks when you need them the most.” In the Doubles event, Nannini finished with the 3rd highest score over the field and fell back to earn AAA Champion.

Wyatt Debrie was the Junior Champion in the High Over All competition and finished the Handicap Championship as the Junior Runner-Up. Debrie also won the Wednesday Handicap and Singles Class Junior Championship, and he continued his hot shooting with a Doubles Junior Class title on Friday. Barrett Debrie, Wyatt’s younger brother, won the Singles and Doubles Class Championship in the Sub-Junior division and finished as the Sub-Junior Runner-Up in Thursday’s Doubles event. In the Veteran Division, Mike Blaisdell was the Doubles Champion. In Lady II, Sandra Jo Jack earned Runner-Up finishes in both the Singles and Doubles Championships.

“Overall, the team delivered excellent performances. Our sponsored shooters do well year after year, and that’s certainly something to be proud of,” said Remington’s Director of Marketing, Christian Hogg. “Remington shotshells are well known for top performances, and with all the great shooters on Team Remington behind the triggers, we know many more top performances will result this year.”

Team Remington competes and wins with Remington Premier shotshells. Top quality, consistency, and accuracy come standard when trap, skeet, or sporting competitors shoot the iconic Premier STS and Premier Nitro families of ammunition.
